Scroll to the bottom of the list of Safari settings to the "Block Pop-ups" setting. Tap the "OFF" button once to change the setting to "ON." Close the Settings app and tap the "Safari" icon to maximize the Safari browser onscreen again. Pop up screens will now be blocked on your iPhone.
Pop-up screens are one of the most annoying things that occur during Internet browsing. They can be even more of a hassle when you're using an iPhone, as they usually take up the whole screen. If time is a factor and maximum productivity is your goal (for example: you're working on a business project), disable pop-up screens from happening when your iPhone is connected to the Internet. Not only will this save you time, but it will also prevent unneeded frustration caused by unwanted pop-up screens.
Step 1
Press the circle button on your iPhone to minimize the Safari browser window and tap the "Settings" app.
Step 2
Scroll down the list of settings and tap "Safari" when you reach it. All the customizable settings related to Safari will be shown on the page that opens up.
Step 3
Scroll to the bottom of the list of Safari settings to the "Block Pop-ups" setting. Tap the "OFF" button once to change the setting to "ON."
